Your choices come before optional tracking.

ArtistSphere is operated by RoyaltyTraders LLC, doing business as SongVest (“ArtistSphere,” “SongVest,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains how we handle information when you use artistsphere.music, register an email, follow music, vote, request catalog coverage, submit a correction, or express non-binding interest in song-related ownership updates.

Information we collect

Confirmed-registration matching

If you choose marketing measurement and then confirm an email subscription, we normalize the address and transform it using one-way SHA-256 hashing before disclosure. We also create a separate keyed, pseudonymous external identifier and a one-time conversion identifier. Google Ads may use the email hash for enhanced conversion matching. Meta may use the email hash and external identifier for manual advanced matching. These identifiers remain personal information even though the vendors do not receive the raw address through this flow.

We do not send these identifiers when you merely type or submit an email, when confirmation fails, for votes or ownership-interest requests, or when marketing consent is denied. We keep automatic form tracking, automatic advanced matching, customer-list uploads, and automatic detailed-page collection disabled. Registration matching does not produce a Purchase, investment, Lead, or ownership event.

How we use information

Your email and consent choices

Newsletter, follow, vote, catalog-notice, and song-interest requests use separate purposes and confirmation records. A vote or ownership-interest request does not subscribe you to marketing. You can use the links in our messages to update preferences, withdraw a song-specific interest, or unsubscribe from all email.

Analytics and marketing are separate optional choices. ArtistSphere works when both are declined. Use the persistent “Privacy choices” control to grant or withdraw either choice. Before a grant, the site does not load Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads, or Meta Pixel. Withdrawing a choice stops future events for that category; it cannot retract information a vendor lawfully received earlier.

How we disclose information

We disclose information only as needed to:

We do not sell personal information for money. Marketing measurement may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under some U.S. state laws. Declining or withdrawing marketing through Privacy choices opts out of that disclosure. We also honor a browser-enabled Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out: marketing measurement remains disabled in that browser while the signal is active.

Retention

We may retain information longer when required for security, legal hold, or compliance.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or appeal a denied request. You may also opt out of sale or sharing and will not be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right. We may verify a request using information already associated with you and may deny or limit a request where permitted by law.

Submit a request to privacy@songvest.com or by mail to: ArtistSphere / SongVest, 1053 East Whitaker Mill Road, Suite 115, Raleigh, NC 27604. An authorized agent may submit a request where applicable, subject to verification.

Security, transfers, and children

We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption of recoverable email, keyed deduplication hashes, hashed private-link secrets, access controls, rate limits, and bounded retention. No system is completely secure.

We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where privacy laws differ. Where required, we use lawful transfer mechanisms. ArtistSphere is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child supplied information.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service, vendors, or law changes. We will post the revised policy and effective date and provide additional notice when required. Questions may be sent to privacy@songvest.com. Your use of ArtistSphere is also governed by the User Agreement.
